Adult fair is for those exhibitors who have reached their 19th birthday by September 1, 2020.

A special award will be given to the exhibitor who acquires the highest points on Wednesday and Friday in the Floriculture Department. If you receive the award on Wednesday, you are still eligible to win on Friday These awards are being donated by:

Rules

  1. Entries close Saturday, July 2, 2022 for classes LA1476 through LA2486 and Wednesday, July 6 for classes LA4487 through LA6498.
  2. Entries for classes LA1476 through LA2486 must be in place by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 and Friday, July 8 by 9:00 a.m. for classes LA4487 through LA6498.
  3. Building will be open at 7:00 a.m. on July 6 and July 8 for placement of exhibits.
  4. All containers, accessories, plants and arrangements displayed on Wednesday should be picked up on Friday. All containers and accessories must be picked up on Sunday, July 10 between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. If this is not possible, contact the superintendent for other arrangements. Please be prompt in picking up containers. Containers should be labeled with exhibitor's name.
  5. Judging criteria:
    • All floriculture to be exhibited is to be exhibited in a clear jar, vase or bottle.
    • All flowers are to be grown and displayed by exhibitor.
    • Specimens will be judged on flower, foliage and stem quality.
  6. Arrangements are to be judged on container, flowers, accessories and how well the total arrangement represents the specific class entered.
  7. All exhibitors must purchase a pass.
  8. Social Security numbers are required.
