2022 Master Showmanship Contest

Friday, July 8 at 1:00 p.m. • Show Ring

A 4-H showmanship contest will be held at the Morgan County Fair on Friday, July 8 at 1:00 p.m. A Champion Showman will be chosen in each of the sheep, swine, and beef classes. The Grand Champion Showman will be selected based on the top scores in all species. The Grand Champion is then eligible to compete in the Master Showmanship Contest held at the Illinois State Fair. Contestants are responsible for acquiring an animal in each specie.

Morgan County 4-H members over 14 years of age exhibiting at the Morgan County Fair are eligible to compete.

Awards

Grand Champion – $50

Reserve Champion – $25

Champion Beef Division – $15

Champion Swine Division – $15

Champion Sheep Division – $15

The County Grand Champion will advance to State Contest.

All participants will receive a Master Showmanship t-shirt.
