Wethers and market ewes will be weighed to determine the class in which they will be entered. Enter the wether lamb, market ewe, commerical yearling ewe and pair classes with the bold entry number.

Health certificates will be checked: Tuesday, July 5, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Weigh-in: Tuesday, July 5, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Entry FormRules
- All sheep must be in pens by Tuesday, July 5 by 6:00 p.m.
- Wethers and market ewes wil be weighed at 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5.
- All sheep must comply with the rulings of the Department of Agriculture of the State of Illinois on sheep exhibiting at Illinois Fairs. Health certificates will be checked 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Free of any fungus and/or sore mouth
- Wethers and market ewes classes must be slick sheared.
- All sheep will be assigned pens by the superintendent. Although you may request a certain number of pens, we cannot guarantee that you will receive that number.
- All purebred sheep must have approved Breed Association Registration Paper.
- Only wethers, market ewes and commercial ewes can be shown in the market classes. The same ewes cannot be shown in the market classes and the breeding classes.
- ALL SHEEP MUST HAVE A SCRAPIE TAG.
- Showmanship will be at the conclusion of the Market Lamb show and is for Morgan County 4-H ONLY
- The 2022 show will start with Hair Sheep.
- Wether Show – Following the breeding sheep show
- Sheep, will be released immediately after the Market Lamb show conclusion.
- Dorset advantage must be registered as so with the Continental Dorset Club.
- Fall Lambs: Lambed Between September 1, 2021 and December 31, 2020.
- Early Spring Lambs: Lambed Between January 1, 2022 and February 15, 2022.
- Late Spring Lambs: Lambed on or after February 16, 2022.
- Yearling Ewe/Ram: 1 year or older
- Social Security numbers are required.
