Our 2021 Royalty encourage all interested girls residing in Morgan County to enter this year’s pageant. The 2022 queen will be awarded a scholarship, and additional prizes purchased from area businesses will be awarded for all categories.
2021 Morgan County Fair Royalty

Queen: Julianne Therese Wilson daughter of Brad and Terry Wilson of Jacksonville
Junior Miss: Lillie Evelyn Adeline Brown daughter of Ted and Sissy Brown of Jacksonville

To Enter the Contest
Complete a pageant application form and mail it, along with the $50 entry fee, to: Morgan County Fair Pageant; 1626 Old US Hwy 67; Jacksonville, IL 62650. The pageant application form is available on the pageant’s social media sites, County Market, On the Clip Side, The Sunroom, and University of Illinois Extension – Morgan County office. The royalty makes these appearances
The following appearances are mandatory for the princess, junior miss, and queen; and all contestants should carefully consider their ability to commit to these appearances before entering the pageant
- 2022 Morgan County Fair
- Local county fairs held after the 2022 Morgan County Fair
- Local parades including Illinois College homecoming and Jacksonville Fourth of July. Participation in other local parades not specifically listed herein is at the discretion of the royalty.
- County Fair Day at Illinois State Fair - August 12, 2022
- IAAF Zone Meeting - October 2022
- IAAF State Pageant - January 2023
- Morgan County Fair Gala - February 2023
- All pageant participation activities for the 2023 Morgan County Fair Pageant
Queen Pageant
Rules
- Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Morgan County for at least 6 months prior to pageant date.
- Contestants must be single, never married and have no children.
- Contestants must be a minimum of 17 years old by July 5, 2022 and not have reached her 2nnd birthday.
- Only the first 21 applicants will be accepted.
- Contestants cannot have previously been a county fair queen in Illinois.
- Contestants will be judged on beauty and physique, stage presence, speech communication and interviewed by the judges prior to the pageant.
- A $50 entry fee will be required for each contestant, sent with entry information.
- Miss Morgan County is automatically entered in the Miss Illinois County Fair Pageant to be held in Springfield in January 2023.

Junior Miss Pageant
Rules
- Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Morgan County.
- Contestants must be 12 years old by July 5, 2022 and not 14 by the same date.
- Only the first 15 applicants will be accepted.
- Contestants will be judged on beauty, personality, charm, stage presence, communication and interviewed by judges prior to the pageant.
- A $50 entry fee will be required for each contestant, sent with entry information by mail only. Entries by any other method will not be accepted.
- Entry deadline for the Junior Miss Contest is limited to the first 15 applicants.
Princess Pageant
Rules
- Contestants must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Morgan County.
- Contestants must be 5 years old by July 5, 2022 and not 7 by the same date.
- Only 15 applicants will be accepted.
- Contestants will be judged on beauty, personality and charm and will be interviewed by judges prior to the pageant.
- A $50 entry fee will be required for each contestant, sent with entry information by mail only. Entries by any other method will not be accepted.
- Only applications of girls who have not entered in previous years will be accepted.
